03:07 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- As expected, Spain's quarterly gross domestic product growth accelerated to 0.7% in the second quarter from 0.6% in the previous three months, final data from the National Statistics Institute showed Friday. Annually, the Spanish economy increased 2.6%, down from the preliminary reading of 2.7% and compared with the revised 2.6% jump earlier.
