07:26 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Trophy Games Development A/S (TGAMES.CO) agreed to buy French game developer Playrion from Swedish video game publisher Paradox Interactive (PDX.ST) for an upfront cash consideration of 2.3 million euros. The deal includes a deferred consideration equal to 9% of net revenue from Playrion's games in three years after closing, according to a Friday release. It marks the Danish game studio's largest acquisition to date and brings Playrion's Airport Simulator under its belt to help launch new simulation games. Trophy Games will fund the transaction with existing cash reserves, with the deal scheduled to close on Sept. 30.
