08:57 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- SpareBank 1 Sør-Norge (SB1NO.OL) will increase its interest rates on mortgages and deposits by up to 0.25 percentage points. The Norwegian savings bank will apply the new rates on Sept. 28 for new mortgages and Nov. 29 for existing ones, according to a Friday filing. The move follows Norges Bank's Thursday decision to raise the policy rate to 4.50% from 4.25%.
