05:16 AM EDT, 09/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Eli Lilly's (LLY.SW, LLY.F) Foundayo, or orforglipron, pill was approved as a treatment for obesity in Qatar, according to a Sunday release. The Ministry of Public Health in Qatar approved the first oral weight-loss GLP-1 treatment for weight management in the country. The pharmaceutical giant's once-daily GLP-1 receptor agonist is already marketed in five other markets globally.
