04:06 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Volkswagen Group (VOW.F, VOW3.F) signed a memorandum of understanding with Korean chemical company LG Chem to jointly develop next-generation plastics and composite materials. The deal also aims to decrease the weight and boost the performance of the German automotive group's vehicles through the use of LG Chem's synthetic resin, engineering plastics, and post-consumer recycled materials, according to a Monday release.
