05:42 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Oslo-listed oil shipping company Capital Tankers (CAPT.OL) took delivery of the M/T Ayrton dual-fuel Suezmax tanker. The delivery brings the company's total number of sailing tankers to 16. The vessel was partially financed through a $64.5 million sale and leaseback arrangement, repayable in 28 quarterly installments of $900,000 each, followed by a $40 million balloon payment, with the final installment in September 2033, according to a Monday release. Capital Tankers expects to receive an additional Suezmax tanker in November, bringing its sailing fleet to 17 vessels.
