Enilive has announced that BWT Alpine Formula One Team will adopt its HVOlution diesel biofuel to power logistics vehicles during European rounds of the FIA Formula One World Championship.
HVOlution is produced at Enilive’s Venice and Gela biorefineries from 100% renewable raw materials, mainly waste and residues such as used cooking oil and animal fats.
As a drop‑in HVO fuel, it requires no engine or infrastructure modifications and can deliver substantial lifecycle CO₂ reductions — Enilive reports an average 79.5% cut versus fossil diesel in 2025.
The team’s logistics fleet will transition to exclusive use of HVOlution, refuelling via a network of more than 1,700 Enilive service stations and managed through the Multicard system.
The partnership extends Eni’s role as Official Energy and Fuel Partner to Alpine, and includes joint work on future biofuel development for top‑tier motorsport, using racing as a showcase for advanced renewable fuels.
