A.G. Barr Posts Lower Fiscal H1 Profit; Revenue Rises

02:17 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- A.G. Barr (BAG.L) said Tuesday that attributable profit for the first half of fiscal 2027 decreased, while revenue increased year over year. Profit attributable to equity shareholders for the six months ended Aug. 1 was 26.4 million pounds sterling, compared with 27.7 million pounds earlier. EPS moved to 0.2352 pound from 0.2461 pound. On the other hand, adjusted profit was 27.7 million pounds and adjusted EPS was 0.2499 pound, compared with the year-ago period's 27.7 million pounds and 0.2490 pound, respectively. The multi-beverage company's revenue was 247.4 million pounds, compared with 228.1 million pounds a year ago. Meanwhile, the board approved an interim dividend of 0.0382 pound per share for the period, compared with the 0.0344 pound per share from the year-ago period, payable Nov. 6 to shareholders on record Oct. 9. Looking ahead, the company expects results in line with market expectations for the entire fiscal year.
