03:15 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The KOF Swiss Economic Institute's economic barometer increased to 109.1 points in September from the revised 107.5 points in August, according to a Tuesday release. Analysts expected 106 points for the month. KOF said the level remains above its medium-term average following consecutive increases in the previous months. Swiss economic outlook remains favorable, with particularly positive developments in the indicator bundles for manufacturing, services, and construction.
