In the second quarter of 2026, China had a current account surplus of 1324.3 billion yuan, including a surplus of 1906.1 billion yuan in trade in goods, 378.9 billion yuan in trade in services, an initial revenue deficit of 245.6 billion yuan, and a secondary revenue surplus of 42.8 billion yuan. The capital and financial account deficit was 1075 billion yuan.
