07:13 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Berenberg updated its financial model and forecasts for Coca-Cola HBC (CCH.L) to reflect the bottling company's planned acquisition of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa. "We believe that Coca-Cola Hellenic's (CCH) forthcoming acquisition of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) will provide CCH with unparalleled access to a high-growth consumer base. The deal positions CCH among the fastest-growing global bottlers, enabling the company to leverage favourable demographics and drive further carbonated soft drink (CSD) penetration, while establishing a leading platform that should enable it to achieve additional regional consolidation," the research firm said Tuesday. Berenberg also noted the deal as "financially attractive," saying it is expected to be immediately EPS-accretive by 1.5%, excluding synergies, and to generate an ROIC of 5.4%, with the potential to "increase rapidly" if CCH improves execution and efficiencies. As such, Berenberg maintained its 2026 sales, EBIT and EPS forecasts, while raising its 2027 and 2028 estimates. The stock's price target was also increased to 54.83 pounds sterling from 54.53 pounds, with an unchanged buy rating.
