According to the Zhitong Finance App, Yinghai Group (08668) announced that the Group is expanding into a new taxi operation business (taxi operation business) in the field of public transportation and travel. The Company's indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Ga Macau Limited (to Macau) participated in the 2026 public auction for the general passenger license for light taxis conducted by the Transport Bureau (Transport Authority) of the Macau Special Administrative Region Government of the People's Republic of China, and was recently notified by the Transport Bureau that it has been granted an ordinary license by the Transport Authority. An ordinary license to go to Macau allows them to apply for subsidiary licences for up to 50 taxis in Macau, each carrying six or more passengers. The term of an ordinary licence is eight years from the date the first subsidiary licence is granted.
The Company is currently proceeding with preparations related to the commencement of the taxi operation business. Based on currently available information, the board of directors expects the taxi business to start generating revenue no later than the third quarter of 2027.
The Group is a licensed integrated travel operator headquartered in Macau, as well as a performance and event organizer in Asia. Currently, the Group is mainly engaged in travel business, selling and distributing hotel rooms, air tickets and travel accessories in Macau; vehicle business, providing vehicle rental and limousine services in Macau, China and Hong Kong; and performance and event business, mainly organizing shows and events in Asia. The Board of Directors believes that the new taxi operation complements the Group's existing business and will bring new revenue streams and enhance the Group's operating cash flow.
