11:48 PM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Kongsberg Gruppen (KOG.OL) secured a contract worth 1.5 billion Norwegian kroner from the Netherlands to boost the capacity of the country's air defense program CITADEL. The Norwegian technology and defense group was signed on to the CITADEL program in 2024, according to a Tuesday release. Under the expanded agreement, Kongsberg Gruppen will deliver several NOMADS systems, high-mobility short-range air defense, and enhancements to the NASAMS ground-based air defence system.
