UK's Current Account Deficit Narrows in Q2

02:14 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK's current account deficit, including trade in precious metals, decreased to 19.93 billion pounds sterling in the second quarter, from the revised 21.12 billion pounds in the previous three months, the Office for National Statistics said Wednesday. Analysts expected a current account deficit of 25.6 billion pounds for the month.
