Saudi Arabia Logs 19.5% Decline in Q2 Foreign Direct Investment Net Inflows

05:13 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Net inflows of foreign direct investment in Saudi Arabia shrank 19.5% year over year to 19.1 billion Saudi riyals during the second quarter, the country's General Authority for Statistics said Wednesday. Sequentially, net inflows dropped 15.8% from 22.7 billion riyals in the first quarter. Overall, 22.3 billion riyals of foreign direct investment entered the kingdom, down 16.9%, while foreign direct investment outflows stood at 3.2 billion riyals, up 2.7% annually.
