Listen to the news

Shares of Iovance Biotherapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:IOVA) are trading flat Wednesday morning, taking a breather after Tuesday’s surge which pushed the stock to a new 52-week high.

Here’s what investors need to know.

Strong Amtagvi Demand Drives Guidance Hike

The primary catalyst for the recent strength is Iovance’s Tuesday announcement raising its full-year 2026 total revenue guidance to a range of $410 million to $420 million. The updated forecast represents a $55 million increase at the midpoint over the company’s prior estimate of $350 million to $370 million.

Interim President and Chief Executive Officer Frederick Vogt cited sustained U.S. patient demand for the company’s flagship TIL (tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte) therapy, Amtagvi, alongside its Proleukin product.

Amtagvi, which targets advanced melanoma, previously drove Iovance to a record $99.3 million in second-quarter product revenue. Management noted that current manufacturing schedules and increasing patient enrollment provide strong visibility into third- and fourth-quarter revenues.

Expanding Treatment Center Network

Commercial execution remains the focal point for Iovance’s near-term growth. The company on Tuesday said it has successfully expanded its Authorized Treatment Center network to approximately 100 locations through the third quarter and remains on track to establish at least 110 active centers by year-end 2026. This expanding footprint aims to reduce logistical bottlenecks for administering the highly specialized cellular therapy.

IOVA Stock Edges Higher Wednesday

IOVA Price Action: Iovance Biotherapeutics shares were up 0.42% at $14.51 at the time of publication on Wednesday. The stock is near its 52-week high of $15.30, according to Benzinga Pro data.
