The Bassett, Virginia-based company said it had profit of 24 cents per share.

The furniture seller posted revenue of $82.8 million in the period.

Bassett shares have climbed almost 7% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $17.89, a climb of 14% in the last 12 months.
