04:00 AM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Airbus (AIR.PA, AIR.F) agreed to sell its Sepang Aircraft Engineering unit to Malaysia Aviation Group. The transaction is expected to close in 2027, subject to customary requirements and the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia's approval, according to a Thursday release. The divestment of the European aircraft manufacturer's subsidiary is set to expand Malaysia Aviation's engineering and maintenance capabilities.
