Cotton Starting Off Thursday with Losses

Cotton is starting Thursday with AM losses of 6 to 10 points. Futures closed the Wednesday session with contracts 16 to 43 pints lower across the board. Crude oil is back up $2.06 per barrel on the session, with the US dollar index $0.074 higher. 

The Cotlook A index was back up 10 points on Tuesday at 93.35. ICE certified cotton stocks were unchanged on September 29, with the certified stocks level at 28,064 bales. The Adjusted World Price was down 283 points last week to 66.09 cents/lb.

Oct 26 Cotton  closed at 74.79, down 34 points, currently unch

Dec 26 Cotton  closed at 78.52, down 34 points, currently down 6 points

Mar 27 Cotton  closed at 81.38, down 37 points, currently down 8 points
