09:56 AM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Swedish investor Maelir completed its purchase of Bulten's (BULTEN.ST) European automotive contract manufacturing business and separately agreed to acquire Hallstahammar Industrifastighet. As part of the completed divestment, the Stockholm-listed automotive fasteners manufacturer is transferring the Bulten brand to Maelir and will change its name once the necessary formal processes are completed, according to a Thursday statement. In a separate same-day release, Bulten said it will sell Hallstahammar Industrifastighet, which owns the industrial property housing its manufacturing operations in Hallstahammar, Sweden, at a preliminary price of 223 million kronor in cash. The divested business also signed a lease agreement with Bulten Hallstahammar covering the property. Meanwhile, the company's unit Bulten Fasteners expects to complete its sale of the Tianjin operation to a Kaikai Chen-led local investor group in mid-October.
