10:12 AM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Novonesis (NSIS-B.CO) closed its acquisition of Australian biotechnology company MicroBioGen after securing all regulatory clearances. The Danish biochemistry company said Thursday it plans to leverage MicroBioGen's advanced yeast-breeding capabilities to develop biosolutions for clients in multiple industries. Novonesis held a 23% stake in MicroBioGen before the completion of the transaction.
