Italian Monthly Retail Sales Up 0.3% in August

04:10 AM EDT, 10/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Italy's seasonally adjusted retail sales rose 0.3% in August, after a 0.4% decline in July, according to data from statistics agency Istat published Friday. Analysts expected a 0.1% drop for the month. On a yearly basis, retail sales were 0.5% higher, against the revised 1% growth earlier.
