U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining over 300 points on Friday.

Shares of Applied Digital Corp (NASDAQ:APLD) rose sharply after the company announced it brought an additional 75 MW of AI infrastructure online at its Polaris Forge 1 campus.

Applied Digital achieved Ready for Service for the second phase of Building 2 at Polaris Forge 1, completing the building’s full 150 MW of critical IT load across three 25 MW data halls.

Applied Digital shares jumped 9.8% to $26.54 on Friday.

• Armada Acquisition Corp II (NASDAQ:XRPN) shares jumped 33.3% to $31.24. Armada Acquisition recently announced its shareholders approved the proposed business combination with Evernorth Holdings.
• Eightco Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:ORBS) gained 17.7% to $1.33.
• Azenta, Inc (NASDAQ:AZTA) rose 14.7% to $39.58.
• Synaptics Inc (NASDAQ:SYNA) gained 13.5% to $120.51 after the company announced it will be acquired by onsemi for $123 per share under the revised agreement.
• Maxlinear Inc (NASDAQ:MXL) jumped 12.9% to $104.00. MaxLinear will hold a conference call to review third quarter financial results on Thursday, Oct. 22.
• Wolfspeed Inc (NYSE:WOLF) rose 12.5% to $35.06.
• ChipMOS Technologies Inc – ADR (NASDAQ:IMOS) gained 11.4% to $80.97.
• Penguin Solutions Inc (NASDAQ:PENG) rose 10.2% to $60.61.
• Cypherpunk Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:CYPH) gained 9.9% to $3.21.
• Vishay Intertechnology Inc (NYSE:VSH) rose 9.7% to $37.60.
• Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ:BTDR) climbed 9.3% to $11.63 after H.C. Wainwright reiterated its Buy rating and $25 price target, citing new AI Cloud offtake commitments.
• Intuitive Machines Inc (NASDAQ:LUNR) rose 8.4% to $15.22.
• Terawulf Inc (NASDAQ:WULF) gained 8.4% to $16.16
• Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (NASDAQ:CRDO) gained 8.2% to $227.29.
• Veeco Instruments Inc (NASDAQ:VECO) rose 8% to $57.46.
• Planet Labs PBC (NYSE:PL) gained 7.7% to $17.38.
• Arm Holdings PLC – ADR (NASDAQ:ARM) rose 7.6% to $314.70.
• Applied Optoelectronics Inc (NASDAQ:AAOI) gained 7.3% to $115.13.
• ON Semiconductor Corp (NASDAQ:ON) rose 4.1% to $83.39 after the company announced it will acquire Synaptics for $123 per share under the revised agreement.
