According to China Railway's official account, following the implementation of the off-season mid-week ticketing preferential measures for the elderly from May to June of this year, China Railway Group has further optimized this welfare measure. People aged 60 and above will enjoy a “discount” fare discount when purchasing train tickets marked “respectful” from October 18 to December 30, 2026, further expanding the scope of the discount period. The relevant discount tickets will be sold one after another starting October 4.
