01:24 AM EDT, 10/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bayer (BAYN.F) unveiled plans to build a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Ohio, US, according to an Oct. 2 release. The German life science company will invest $2.2 billion in the development of the New Albany-based location that will focus on drug substance and product manufacturing. Bayer expects the drug substance production to start in 2031, with drug product manufacturing to begin in 2034.
