During the National Day, Unit 1 of the Huadian Golmud Phase I 2×660MW coal power project, located in the Kunlun Economic Development Zone in Golmud City, Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, was successfully connected to the grid and entered the test operation stage with load. This project is the highest-altitude ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation project under construction in China. It is also a key project in the Qinghai Energy Development Plan.
