Tadawul Shares Start Week Higher; OPEC+ to Keep November Crude Production Steady

08:31 AM EDT, 10/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The Tadawul All Share Index closed the first Sunday of October 1.09% in the green as investors focused on OPEC+'s latest summit on oil output targets for November. The members of OPEC+, which includes the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and allies such as Russia, agreed to keep their crude production steady in November. Saudi Arabia will be required to produce 10.5 million barrels per day in the month. In other news, the Houthi group reportedly launched missiles and drones at a Riyadh-based Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (SASE:2222), d/b/a Saudi Aramco, facility. The Houthis said that the attack was made in retaliation for the kingdom's attacks on Yemen. Aramco shares ticked up 0.55% at closing. On the corporate front, Almarai Co. (SASE:2280) shares rose 3.81% as it reported a 0.741% increase in attributable net profit and an 11.432% rise in revenue for the third quarter of 2026. "Almarai third quarter 2026 revenues have grown strongly by 11% on a year-on-year basis, underpinned by poultry sales volume growth driven by expansion projects, dairy sales growth in Egypt, and inorganic growth from the water business acquisition," the food and beverage company said in its report. "Almarai reaffirms its commitment to consumers by ensuring the continued availability of its products, supported by the resilience and efficiency of its supply chain and its ability to respond effectively to evolving operational conditions." Meanwhile, the Rabigh 2 CCGT IPP Expansion project reached financial close as it secured a 34-year financing worth 9.69 billion Saudi riyals. Saudi Energy Co. (SASE:5110) and Acwa Power (SASE:2082) each own a 40% stake in the project. Saudi Energy Co. and Acwa Power both closed at 0.58% and 1.53% in the green, respectively.
