12:18 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Fitch Ratings upgraded Sveafastigheter's (SVEAF.ST) long-term issuer default rating and resolved the rating watch positive following completion of its merger with peer KlaraBo Sverige (KLARA-B.ST). The Swedish real estate company's long-term and senior unsecured debt ratings were upgraded to BBB from BBB-, with a stable outlook, according to an Oct. 2 release. The rating agency expects the combined 47 billion kronor property portfolio to strengthen Sveafastigheter's diversification in Sweden and expansion, while increasing its share of income-producing properties. Fitch also highlighted Sveafastigheter's improved liability profile following the extension of secured bank debt maturities and the issuance of a 350 million-euro unsecured bond.
