Skanska Bags $110 Million Construction Contract for New US High School

01:53 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Skanska (SKA-B.ST) secured a $110 million contract to construct a new high school for the Renton School District in Washington, US. The Swedish construction group said Monday that the project involves the construction of a new three-story high school with a total area of 32,500 square meters and capacity for 1,600 students. It will feature spaces for health and special services, community areas, a library, a cafeteria, commons, gymnasiums, and sports fields. Project completion is expected in the fall of 2029.
