03:31 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Schneider Electric (SU.PA) agreed to acquire US engineering software provider PTC for an all-cash consideration of $205 per share, according to a Monday release. The deal values PTC's equity at $22.6 billion and implies an enterprise value of $23.7 billion. The Paris-listed energy technology company said the acquisition would extend its asset lifecycle software capabilities into product design and engineering. Schneider expects to finance the transaction through an equity issuance of 5 billion euros to 6 billion euros and new debt of 16 billion euros to 17 billion euros. Completion is expected in the third quarter of 2027, subject to approval from PTC shareholders, regulatory clearances and other customary conditions.
