Eurozone Final Composite PMI Hits 41-month High in September

04:15 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The euro area's private sector continued to see growth in September, with both the manufacturing and services sectors recording higher output amid intensifying inflationary pressures, final data from S&P Global showed Monday. The seasonally adjusted S&P Global Eurozone Composite PMI Output Index rose to a 41-month high of 53.1 in September, matching the flash estimate, compared with the previous month's 52. Meanwhile, the services PMI came in at 53, in line with the initial reading, against the prior 51.6.
