Germany's Final PMI Confirmed at Highest in Nearly a Year

04:40 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Germany's private sector continued to see solid growth in September as the services sector rose to its highest level since just before the Middle East conflict began in February. The final Germany Composite PMI Output Index recorded its highest reading for almost a year of 53.8 in September, up from 51.8 in August, S&P Global said Monday. The final reading was in line the flash estimate. For the service sector, the final PMI clocked in at 52.9, unchanged from the initial estimate and up from the previous month's 49.7.
