Looking at Bel Fuse Inc.'s (NASDAQ:BELF.A ) insider transactions over the last year, we can see that insiders were net sellers. That is, there were more number of shares sold by insiders than there were purchased.

While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we do think it is perfectly logical to keep tabs on what insiders are doing.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Bel Fuse

Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider sale was by the President, Farouq Tuweiq, for US$670k worth of shares, at about US$218 per share. So we know that an insider sold shares at around the present share price of US$209. While we don't usually like to see insider selling, it's more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. In this case, the big sale took place at around the current price, so it's not too bad (but it's still not a positive). Farouq Tuweiq was the only individual insider to sell over the last year.
