02:28 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Informa (INF.L) intends to purchase B2B live events company Clarion for an enterprise value of 2.24 billion pounds sterling, according to a Tuesday release. The transaction, which will be settled in cash, will be funded through dedicated acquisition financing and the net proceeds of a 940 million pounds equity placing and retail offer. The British publishing, business intelligence, and exhibitions group expects the transaction to conclude in the fourth quarter and boost its portfolio and footprint in the business-to-business live events market.
