05:43 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BofA Global Research expects London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG.L) to deliver improved subscription revenue growth during its third-quarter trading update on Oct. 22. "We think LSEG is on track to deliver a step-up in H226 organic subscription revenue growth to 6.7% from 6.3% in H126 (adjusting for one-off embedded derivatives of GBP(10)m YoY in D&A). This is in line with guidance for 6.5% in 2026 after 6.0% in 2025 and provides momentum into 2027 where LSEG expects 7.0%. Visibility is driven by improving gross sales, retention and pipeline as discussed in the note on our CFO meeting at our recent conference," analysts said Monday. "After stable ~6% subscription business growth in 2025 H126, improvement is needed to gain confidence of share gains and pricing power, with AI benefits to come." The research firm also projects organic constant currency revenue growth of 7.2% in the third quarter and an 8% increase for the first nine months, bringing BofA's full-year 2026 forecast to 7.8% amid expectations of "tough" markets segment comparisons in the fourth quarter. The estimates imply upside to management's guided range of 7% to 7.5%. Additionally, analysts nudged their adjusted EPS estimates up 1% for 2026 through 2028, citing anticipated "resilient" trading volumes in Tradeweb and OTC derivatives within the markets segment. EPS forecasts could see further lift if the current 3 billion-pound-sterling share repurchase program, which has 900 million pounds left to execute by February 2027, is extended. BofA reiterated its buy rating on the stock, with a price objective of 115 pounds sterling.
