11:58 PM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Northern Ocean (NOL.OL) raised $71.7 million from the private placement of 105,547,756 new shares, according to a Tuesday release. The Oslo-listed drilling contractor will use the net proceeds for debt repayment and liquidity requirements until its Deepsea Mira drilling rig begins operations in April 2027, as well as for general corporate expenditures. Settlement is expected by Friday.
