01:32 AM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Georg Fischer's (GF.SW) board will nominate Ton Büchner for election as its new chairman at the annual shareholders' meeting in April 2027. Büchner, who will succeed Yves Serra, joined the piping systems company's board in April, according to a Wednesday release. He previously served as the chairman of Swiss Prime Site (SPSN.SW) and Burckhardt Compression (BCHN.SW).
