02:52 AM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Dana Gas (ADX:DANA) and British advanced materials company Levidian set up the first LOOP 20 unit at the Sharjah Graphene Park, UAE, enabling graphene production in the emirate. The Abu Dhabi-listed natural gas company said Wednesday that the fully operational unit has an annual production capacity of over 1 tonne of graphene. Additional LOOP 60 and LOOP 100 units, which are already under construction in the UK, are expected to boost production in Sharjah to more than 10 tonnes annually before the end of 2026. The partners are in discussions with several customers across the United Arab Emirates and Gulf Cooperation Council regarding long-term graphene offtake agreements.
