02:57 AM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- France recorded a current account deficit of 1.5 billion euros in August, down from a revised deficit of 3.9 billion euros in July, the Bank of France said Wednesday. In the 12 months to August, France's current account deficit totaled 10.3 billion euros, compared with the deficit of 17.2 billion euros a year earlier.
