04:21 AM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Oriole Resources (ORR.L) reported a maiden mineral resource estimate for its 85%-owned Wapouzé limestone project in Cameroon, indicating potential for a multi-decade mining operation. The project hosts a JORC-compliant inferred mineral resource of 32.2 million tonnes, with weighted average grades of 50.33 weight percent of calcium oxide, 1.13wt% of magnesium oxide, and 6.06wt% of silicon dioxide, according to a Wednesday release. The UK-listed exploration and development company, which plans to submit an exploitation license application in the fourth quarter, will now also prepare a preliminary economic assessment.
