06:33 AM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Aker BP (AKRBP.OL) said the adjusted investment estimates for its major projects in the Norwegian government's budget proposal are in line with its projections in July, a company spokesperson told MT Newswires on Wednesday. The Norwegian oil and gas producer noted that the estimates have been converted to Norwegian kroner from US dollars. "We have good control of both costs and progress, and the production prospects and robustness of the projects have been significantly strengthened since the [plan for development and operation] submissions in 2022," the spokesperson added. The fiscal budget showed that the Yggdrasil project is now expected to cost 195 billion kroner, up from the 177.6 billion-krone estimate a year ago. Meanwhile, the Valhall-Fenris project would cost 93.4 billion kroner, higher than the prior estimate of 75.9 billion kroner.
