Nebius Group N.V. (NASDAQ:NBIS) stock is trading lower by about 2% in Wednesday’s premarket session after closing 7.44% higher on Tuesday.
The pullback comes as risk appetite weakens across Wall Street. U.S. stock futures are pointing lower after Tuesday’s gains, with Nasdaq 100 futures leading the decline amid heightened geopolitical tensions and higher energy prices.
Nasdaq 100 futures are down 0.59%, while S&P 500 futures have slipped 0.24%.
With no company-specific headline driving the move, Nebius’ premarket decline appears largely macro-driven as traders reassess risk against a weaker broader-market backdrop.
The stock’s sharp gain in the previous session could also be prompting some profit-taking as investors lock in gains following the recent run-up.
Nebius remains in a clear uptrend.
The stock is trading about 6% above its 20-day simple moving average of $230.12. It is also more than 44% above its 200-day SMA of $169.37.
The 20-day SMA remains above the 50-day SMA. The 50-day SMA is also above the 200-day SMA. Those bullish crossover signals suggest underlying support during pullbacks.
MACD also points to improving momentum. It is above its signal line, while the histogram remains positive. That suggests downside pressure is easing compared with the previous decline.
In simple terms, MACD compares two moving averages. A reading above the signal line generally indicates improving momentum, even when the stock moves sideways from day to day.
Looking at the broader trend, the stock hit a 52-week high in June before reaching a swing low in July. It then climbed to another swing high in August after breaking above resistance that month.
That type of price action can leave a stock vulnerable to sharp pullbacks. However, as long as Nebius remains well above its 200-day SMA, longer-term traders may continue to view declines as corrective rather than trend-breaking.

Below is the Benzinga Edge scorecard for Nebius, highlighting its strengths and weaknesses compared with the broader market:
The Verdict: Nebius’ Benzinga Edge signal points to a momentum-driven stock with a premium valuation. If futures-led weakness continues, traders may watch whether momentum remains intact during pullbacks. The low Value score could amplify volatility when sentiment weakens.
Significance: Because Nebius carries a large weight in the fund, significant inflows or outflows could result in corresponding buying or selling of the stock.
NBIS Stock Price Activity: Nebius shares were down 1.95% at $245 during Wednesday’s premarket trading, according to Benzinga Pro data.
