08:58 AM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK's Competition and Markets Authority on Tuesday served a pre-emptive action order in relation to BT Group's (BT-A.L) completed acquisition of TalkTalk Telecommunications and PlatformX Communications. The regulator said in a Wednesday update that details of the order will be published in due course. It has until Oct. 19 to deliver a report to the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport following the issuance of a public interest intervention notice.
