10:28 AM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management joined the race to bid for German state-owned utility Uniper (UN0.F), Reuters reported Wednesday, citing two people with direct knowledge of the matter. Norway's Equinor (EQNR.OL) and a consortium consisting of KKR and German power supplier RWE (RWE.F) also submitted indicative bids, which were due Sept. 21. The bidders would be informed in the coming weeks whether they will advance to the next round, a third source said.
