France's Air Liquide Issues EUR2 Billion Multi-tranche Bond

12:04 PM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Air Liquide (AI.PA) issued a new multi-tranche bond worth 2 billion euros under its euro medium-term note program, which was "very significantly oversubscribed" by investors. The French industrial gases company said Wednesday the bond includes a 400 million-euro, two-year floating-rate tranche due Oct. 13, 2028, with a coupon of three-month Euro Interbank Offered Rate plus 0.35% per annum. Air Liquide also issued separate five-year and 10-year fixed-rate tranches worth 750 million euros and 850 million euros, respectively. Each has respective annual coupons of 4% and 4.5%, with maturities on Oct. 13, 2031, and Oct. 13, 2036. Settlement is expected on Oct. 13. The deal marks the company's return to the euro market.
