Anthropic launches Claude Haiku 5.5, a sub-agent for programming jobs, for large-scale, cost-sensitive tasks. The price of Haiku 5.5 is far lower than Haiku 4.5, and the Sonnet 5.5 cache reading price was reduced by 50% to $0.10 per million words. A new monthly API quota will be introduced for all Max and Team users. Haiku 5.5 is live on all platforms, including Amazon's AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
