11:34 PM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency approved Korjuny, or catumaxomab, as a treatment for malignant ascites in adults. The drug is indicated as an alternative treatment for cancer-related fluid build-up in the abdomen when standard treatment is no longer feasible, according to a Wednesday release. The regulator issued the marketing authorizations to Atnahs Pharma UK Ltd on Oct. 2, supported by the results of a main clinical study involving 258 patients.
