Bayer's Supplemental Drug Application for Chronic Kidney Disease Wins US FDA Acceptance

02:54 AM EDT, 10/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bayer's (BAYN.F) supplemental new drug application for finerenone, a potential treatment for non-diabetic patients with chronic kidney disease, was accepted by the US Food and Drug Administration. The acceptance was based on the German life science company's phase 3 Find-CKD study, which demonstrated that finerenone significantly delayed disease progression and also reduced cardiovascular-kidney events, according to a Thursday release.
