05:18 AM EDT, 10/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Celsius Resources (CLA.L) and its Makilala Holding subsidiary filed a criminal complaint against the buyer of a 60% stake in Philippine-based Makilala Mining Co. The complaint was filed with the Prosecutor of Pasig City against Erika Chalmers, president of Sodor, and includes a primary charge of Estafa, or swindling, through deceit, and an alternative charge of other deceits, according to a Thursday filing. In 2023, Sodor agreed to acquire the 60% interest in Makilala Mining, which was 100% owned by Makilala Holding, but failed to pay the consideration by the extended deadline of Feb. 16, 2026.
