05:56 AM EDT, 10/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Swiss federal pension fund Publica confirmed a data leak following a cyberattack on one of its external software suppliers at the end of September. A criminal complaint was immediately filed and the unnamed company informed relevant federal authorities, Publica and its other clients about the incident, according to a Thursday release. Work is underway to determine the extent of Publica data affected by the cyberattack. The Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland has also launched an investigation into the matter.
